We're Jamie-lee & Alex the family behind Cymru Coast & Vale. Born from a love of Wales, family and creating beautiful places to stay, we wanted to build something that feels personal, where every property is cared for as if it were our own.
OUR STORY

Cymru Coast & Vale began with a simple belief: where you stay should be part of the memories you take home.
But our story actually began long before Cymru Coast & Vale had a name.
It began with The Combat Cleaners Ltd, a family-built business that started with determination, incredibly high standards and a genuine desire to do things differently.
What began as a cleaning company grew into something far bigger than we ever imagined. Through hard work, consistency and a refusal to compromise on standards, we built relationships with homeowners, holiday-let owners, businesses and property professionals across South Wales.
We were trusted with people's homes, their investments and, eventually, their guests.
And that trust meant everything to us.
From cleaning properties to caring for them
As The Combat Cleaners grew, holiday accommodation became a huge part of what we did.
We weren't simply walking into properties, cleaning them and leaving.
We were seeing them through the eyes of the guest.
We noticed the little things.
The kitchen that had everything a family actually needed. The fresh linen waiting after a long journey. The cosy blanket on the sofa. The children's games tucked away for a rainy Welsh afternoon. The spotless bathroom. The welcoming touches. The feeling you get when you walk through a door and immediately think:
“We’re going to love it here.”
And equally, we noticed when those things were missing.
Over time, we realised that our experience had given us something incredibly valuable: an understanding of what makes a holiday property work not only operationally, but emotionally.
That became the beginning of Cymru Coast & Vale
More than somewhere to sleep
We wanted to create something that felt different from the traditional holiday-let experience.
Not rows of properties that all feel the same.
Not somewhere you simply collect a key, sleep and leave.
We wanted homes with warmth, personality and a little understated luxury places where couples can switch off, children can make memories, dogs can come along for the adventure and families can simply enjoy being together.
Think fully equipped kitchens made for big breakfasts and family dinners. Beautiful bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Deep sofas and cosy throws. Games for the children. Thoughtful welcome touches. And homes that feel every bit as special on a rainy November evening as they do on a sunny August afternoon.
Because luxury, to us, isn't about making somewhere feel untouchable.
It's about making people feel looked after.
Welsh at heart
And then, of course, there is Wales.
The coastline. The countryside. The little villages. The mountains. The beaches. The local pubs. The unpredictable weather. The language, the people and that unmistakable feeling of being somewhere that has a story.
We don't want our guests to simply visit Wales.
We want them to fall a little bit in love with it.
Whether it's fish and chips overlooking the sea, muddy boots after a countryside walk, a family meal around the table or curling up together after a day exploring the coast those are the moments holidays are really made from.
Where our standards come from
Our story has always been shaped by strong military values.
With deep military roots within our family, values such as discipline, integrity, respect, loyalty and commitment became part of the foundations on which The Combat Cleaners Ltd was built.
They aren't simply words displayed on a wall. They're reflected in the way we work, the standards we expect and the responsibility we feel when somebody trusts us with their property and we're incredibly proud that this dedication has also been recognised through becoming an SBA Finalist for Best Cleaning Company. As Cymru Coast & Vale grew from that journey, those values naturally came with us.
The surroundings may be softer beautiful Welsh coastlines, cosy cottages and family escapes but behind every property is the same disciplined approach to standards, presentation and care.
Because whether we're preparing a home for its next guests or looking after it on behalf of its owner, we believe if something is worth doing, it's worth doing properly.
